Luke Staengl of Floyd County discusses the renewable energy roller coaster in this 2016 interview. Staengl was director of the Floyd Agricultural Energy Cooperative when it was producing ethanol from 1978 to 1992. He has since started a commercial chemical recycling company in Roanoke, Pragmatic Environmental Solutions.
